Ditch Assist

View current map in Ditch Assist as reference guide. Recommended approach. Save both the .jpg and .jgw files to the same location on your tablet and load via Manage Layers.

Load a line complete with best-fit design without needing to survey or design in Slope-IQ - use with extreme caution. Use auto height calibration to calibrate GPS to LiDAR.

Other Systems

Exports current map view as BMP file with world file in UTM coordinates. Specify required UTM zone. Should work in SD Drain, Ditch Pro, & others.

Exports current map view to KMZ file. Loads in Google Earth and should work in systems like T3RRA.

To use designs for steering guidance import a shp or kml layer as guidance into software like SMS as 'Guidance' then export out for your specific system.

Analysis Data

Export and import flow analysis layers

View flow map in Google Earth or GIS software. Can also be imported into Ditch Assist as a layer to reference surface water flow patterns while working in the field.

Download elevation data for external processing

Download current loaded LiDAR layer as a GeoTIFF in EPSG:3857 Web Mercator coordinates. Use QGIS or ArcGIS to reproject as required.
